Less than one week to go

We have (officially) less than one week to go before this beast opens up for business and I'm starting to have a melt down.

There is SO MUCH more work to do to get things finished and to top it all off we are still waiting for the Dining Room chairs, Dining Room lights, ceiling fans, china, flatware, glassware and a handful of other things including the box springs for the beds to arrive.

The shipping company has promised they are on this week's container which should arrive on Thursday.

Do you think the bride and groom would mind if we changed their menu to be finger food on Chinette?

The first hotel room booking is for Monday, February 8th and the week end of Valentine's Day all the "available" rooms are booked. The restaurant is also starting to fill up with reservations for Valentine's Sunday Brunch.

We are still waiting for a pedestal sink to arrive for one of the rooms so unless that hotel guest doesn't mind washing their face and brushing their teeth in a mop bucket, we have to pull that room out of available inventory until the sink comes.

Today Paul goes over to St. Maarten for last minute essential shopping and I will stay here to crack the whip and finish some of my own chores.
