Last night we were invited to a birthday party and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Even with my "foot in mouth" comment.......
We were standing out on the deck and one of the ladies came by offering some things to eat. When she brought this dish out I thought to myself
"Myself, that's an interesting choice to offer glazed carrots as an hor'dourves"?????
So I verbalize my interesting thought and everyone started laughing at me. I'm thinking, What, what did I say when she told me that the dish was full of Little Smokies in BBQ sauce.
I'll blame it on the poor lighting or that I didn't have my glasses on. BUT certainly not that I had been just ever so slightly overserved at the bar. How's that?
